In dentistry, it's important to have a team full of friendly, helpful people. In fact, that should be a given. But in our practice, we go a step further. Over the years, we've worked hard to build and develop a dynamic team of self-motivated, confident, competent professionals who are experts not only in technical skills, but in people skills as well. Judy Estes, Accounts Payable/Payroll

Not everyone is as fortunate as Dr. Estes to have his own wife working side by side in his practice for over 30 years. In fact, our entire team is indebted to Judy as an incredible resource regarding all of the goings on with patient accounts, administrative details, and a host of other topics as well. Her love for working with people is evident in everything she does, as anyone on the team can testify. When she's not here, Judy is usually busy with her grandchildren, or she might be playing tennis or bridge.

Amanda Garringer, Administrative Assistant

Amanda brings over 9 years of experience to our practice, and considers it a blessing to be able to do what she loves each and every day.  From a young age, Amanda always knew she wanted a career in dentistry, and here at Lake Creek Parkway Dental, she has found just the place to pursue her passion.  Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, Amanda and her family moved here over two years ago, and believe they have found a new place to call home.  When she’s not working at the office, she loves to spend her free time with her two children, Wesley and Hayley.  She also enjoys watching movies, spending time outside, and visiting with family and friends.

Ellie Hall, Registered Dental Hygienist

Ellie has been with our practice for over twenty-seven years. She grew up in the small town of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, and graduated dental hygiene school from West Liberty State College in West Virginia 1974. Ellie then worked in Columbus, Ohio five years before moving to Texas. Shortly after moving to Texas she met her husband Steve who comes from Fort Worth, Texas. They have two boys that Ellie says seem to be growing up very quickly.

Along with working with us, Ellie has the honor of having been invited to be an instructor with the J.P. Institute a “Registered Dental Hygiene Certification Mastership Program.”  This involves her traveling to other cities in the U.S. several times a year.  She really loves the teaching aspect and sharing with others.

LexAnne High, Registered Dental Hygienist

LexAnne brings 26 years of knowledge and a genuine love for others to our practice team. She works well with all kinds of people and knows just how to help them feel at ease. Originally from Lufkin, Texas, LexAnne is married to Shawn and has three children with whom she loves to spend time with. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, working out, reading, and taking care of her family.

Joanna Pettas, Registered Dental Hygienist

Joanna joined our practice in May 2005, and has 8 years of previous dental experience as an assistant, This experience has allowed her to transition smoothly into her new career. She received her degree as one of the first graduates in Dental Hygiene at Austin Community College, achieving the highest honor, the "Golden Scaler" Award. In her spare time, Joanna enjoys spending time with her family, especially her 18 month old son Jaxon.

Patty Knaus, Business Assistant

Patty’s been part of our team for the past 16 years, and brings a total of 32 years dental experience to our practice. We all appreciate her obvious enjoyment of our patients and her supportive attitude towards our effort to provide quality dentistry. She and her husband, Rick, also a dentist, have lived in Austin for 18 years, and together they have two sons.  In Patty’s spare time, she loves reading, going to the movies and spending time with her granddaughter Kate.

Kelly Sewell, Registered Dental Assistant

Kelly brings 15 years of experience in the dental field and a natural talent for making people smile. She enjoys providing our patients with light-hearted humor and top-of-the-line dental care. Originally from Tucson, Arizona, she’s called Austin home for the past five years, along with her husband Jay and two children. When she’s not helping care for people here, she likes to spend time boating, renovating her home, and playing with her kids.

Shayla Licata, Registered Dental Assistant

One of the great things about working in dentistry is being involved in improving people’s smiles and their confidence. And that’s exactly what Shayla enjoys about working with our practice. Plus, she’s always quick to establish a good rapport with each patient, putting people at ease and building friendships at the same time. Shayla’s has over 15 years of dental experience; she joined our practice in 2000 after moving here from Colorado with her husband and son. When she’s not busy with us, she enjoys boating and caring for her two sons.

Tonya Currah, Registered Dental Assistant

Tonya brings 12 years of dental experience to our practice.  Being a native austenite, she enjoys watching movies at the Alamo Draft House, boating, fishing and wakeboarding.  Most of all, Tonya enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Jon, and their three children, Aschley, Zachary and Jessica.
