Dr.
Bill D. Estes
Dr. Estes completed his BA in 1967 at the University of Texas at
Austin, then went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Science degree
in 1971 from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. Following
his formal education, he spent an additional two years of training
in the United States Air Force, serving as Captain at Pease Air Force
Base in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This invaluable experience provided
him with ongoing, hands-on clinical training in every specialty
of dentistry, working directly under masters in each area. He opened
his private dental practice in Austin, Texas in 1973, emphasizing
family dentistry, implants, cosmetics, and major restorative care.
Dr. Estes has purposefully developed his practice around meeting the
needs of each patient. He takes the time to develop an excellent rapport
with each patient and is known for his gentle, sincere manner and professional
expertise. He's also maintained a strong emphasis on learning the very
latest dental technology and techniques through continuing education,
especially in advanced restorative and cosmetic dentistry. His training
in these areas includes completion of several PAC-Live courses, Pankey Institute courses, and Pete Dawson courses on occlusion (bite). In addition,
Dr. Estes has studied directly under the renowned occlusion specialist,
John Kois
actually bringing him in to Austin for hands-on study.
Further, he has published some of his own work in the areas of technical
cosmetic theory and management theory, and conducted numerous 'Table Clinics'
at state Dental Association meetings.
Dr. Estes' Professional Memberships and Affiliations are as follows:

and of course time with his family and grandchildren.
